At the Interactive Open Access Publishing Booth, Biogeosciences Co-Chief Editor Tina Treude will be available for a “Meet the Editor” session to answer questions about publishing in the journal. The discussion will cover scope, editorial expectations, and how to prepare strong, interdisciplinary submissions aligned with Biogeosciences. Attendees can also learn more about the journal’s transparent, interactive peer-review process and how to engage effectively during the public discussion phase on EGUsphere. Researchers at all career stages are warmly invited to stop by, ask questions, and discuss their work and publishing strategies.

During this event, we invite you to approach the Geodesy division team (president, deputy, members and ECS team) in person and share your feedback and and ask questions on various themes in which the Geodesy Division is active. These include topics such as the General Assembly, blogs, outreach or other activities of the EGU.

The EGU Outreach Committee contributes the Union's objectives in identifying and highlighting societal challenges as well as increasing public awareness of the scientific work within the Earth, planetary, and space sciences. It has numerous programmes which aim to: (1) train geoscientists in outreach, public engagement, and science communication, (2) facilitate geoscientists to do outreach and public engagement, (3) develop relationships between geoscientists and journalists/media, and (4) support the EGU community to actively engage and interact with each other. Come along to the EGU booth to meet the volunteer members of the Outreach Committee and find out about all the different opportunities we offer to EGU members.

The three WCD executive editors, Camille Li (University Bergen), Stephan Pfahl (FU Berlin) and Heini Wernli (ETH Zürich) are happy to meet colleagues to chat about publishing papers on weather and climate dynamics in WCD.

The publishing world can be overwhelming, especially as an Early Career Scientist (ECS). Therefore, the EGU Publications committee offers a dedicated Meet the Editors event for ECS this year, at the EGU Open-Access booth. This event is meant to be a space to have lowkey interactions about publishing, open access, writing and reviewing, and any other comments or questions you may have. It is lead by the ECS representative of the committee, Sigrid van Grinsven. Come and have a chat!

GMD is the EGU's software journal. If your research involves the development or assessment of models of any part of the Earth system then GMD is the place to publish your work.Come and meet GMD executive editors to discuss whether your work is in scope for GMD, how to write a good GMD manuscript, and how to ensure you comply with our policies on code and data. If you're an existing GMD author, editor or reviewer, come past and say hi, and let us know what you'd like from GMD going forward.
